The Lady In Red Layout

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well. Today I’m going to show you how to create this amazing layout called The Lady In Red.

First off, I started by selecting my favourite sheet from Little Birdie’s Poppies and Roses paper pack.

Next I decided to give it some texture by adding a few splashes of colour to create a colour depth. I also splattered some colour to enhance the splashes.

Once done, I stamped around the colour to create some more textures.

When I was happy with the layout, I added my focal picture and layered it with some old paper and bandages.

After that, I layered the layout with some ephemera and a sentiment. I also added some diecut letters to embellish my layout.

To give my focal layout a sense of depth and beauty, I layered it with some ephemera, some paper flowers and a time keeper’s die from Little Birdie.

I have also used some of Little Birdie’s handmade flowers to compliment my colouring for my focal element and to enhance my project.

I hope you all enjoyed creating this amazing layout as much as I did, and I’ll see you all next time.

Toucan Surprise – Micro Album

Hey everyone! It’s Eva here and I’m back again with a very special summer themed Micro Album! Perfect for storing all those summer polaroids in a small cute package. So join me and let’s see how to make this Album!

I started off by selecting the pages for my album from Little Birdie’s Sunshine and Lemonade Paper Pack. Then, I die cut the pages to create these cute micro pages.

After that, I layered some more sheets to serve as my photo mattes for the pages.

Once done with that, make the hinge of the mini album. The hinges should be one inch apart to hold three spreads. Stick the hinge to the base of the album.

Cut 3 pieces of chipboard of the given size to make the base of the album. Then start embellishing the pages with the coordinating ephemera from the Sunshine and Lemonade paper pack and some pretty Little Birdie flowers.

Once done with embellishing the pages of the album attach them to the hinge and our album is ready! I hope you enjoyed making this album as much as I did and I’ll see you all next time.

The Gentleman’s Timepiece: Slimline Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Eva here again with a brand new project! This is a slimline card for the special man in your life. So let’s get started.

I started off by cutting two slim pieces from The Little Birdie ‘Classic Gentleman’ paper collection and layered them on Kraft paper.

Once I layered them, I distressed the edges to give it an aesthetically pleasing, worn out vintage look.

After that, I used some black gesso and mixed media paste and gave it a brickline texture.

I added burlap and some Little Birdie metallic gold wax to make the brick texture stand out.

Once done, I proceeded to layer my card with some ephemera and some metal pieces. I also added some Citron Breeze Gold Alcohol splash to give some more depth and colour.

After gluing everything down and placing all my ephemera, I am done with my card. I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I did making it. I will see you all again with my next project. Bye!!

Lots of Love,
