Hello everyone, it is Linda here. Today and I am sharing a Floral Mixed Media card with you. With so many beautiful products at my fingertips, these cards are fun to create – the only problem being – when to stop adding products!
I have combined stamping, color sprays, chipboard, flowers, butterflies and sequins – this card is basically a ‘party waiting for somewhere to happen!’
Apply teal and red inks to the stamp using a sponge dauber and stamp onto white card stock. Trim around the image leaving a small white border – this is the card front.
Remove the lid from the Color Splash – Lemon Zing, lightly tap the tube to splatter the Color Splash over the stamped image, making sure it is applied to the flower centres.
Colour the Primed Chipboard – Floral Gallery using red, blue and yellow inks, a number of coats may need to be applied depending of the depth of colour you are wanting to achieve. Color the sentiment using red ink.
Glue the Primed Chipboard – Floral Gallery and the Primed Chipboard – Birthday Wishes sentiment to the card base. Wind red twine around the lower portion of the card front twice and secure with a bow. Sponge around the petals of an aqua flower, add any details using a White Paint Pen. Glue the flower to the centre of the bow. Glue Sequins Medley – Pink Sherbert to the centre of the flowers and randomly on the card front.
Sponge around the wings of an Handmade Butterfly – Aqua using teal ink. Glue near the top left hand corner of the card front. Add details to the wings using a White Paint Pen. Pop the card front to the Plain Cards – Ivory, using foam tape.
