Home decor: Wall clock

Hi there creative friends!

Wall clocks have always been a favorite item for me to create. This time I used the Black Currant Color Splash watered down like water color paint to color the white Little Birdie flowers and I also mixed it with clear soft wax over chalk paint to create depth. I like to combine Steampunk elements with more feminine elements like flowers to create a softer feel.

Supplies

Step 1

Stencil gears with the Mixed Media paste randomly across a circle canvas and leave to dry. Once dry paint the top and sides with a light coloured chalk paint. Leave to dry.
