Mixed Media Altered Horse

Hi everyone, it’s Hilda here with a new inspiration, an altered horse using a lot of beautiful Little Birdie flowers.

For this project I used a 3D horse puzzle.

First at all i assemble the puzzle, then randomly apply grainy and stone texture paste. After it was dry i covered it with black gesso.
Next, I selected some gears and glued them to both the sides of the horse.

The next step was to add flowers. I glued them forming clusters on both the sides, the center and on the pedestal.

I also added some resin embellishments.

Then I spritz Charcoal Mist Color splash and gave a coat of black gesso to prepare the surface for applying waxes. I started to cover the entire horse with Glimmer Moss metallic wax and then randomly applied Aqua Sheen, Antique Gold, and Cooper Blaze.

That’s all my dear friends. Hope you liked it and will give it a try.
