Pretty Twine Box

Hi everyone, Tamara here with another great use for the ‘Boho Dreams’

paper pack, Little Birdie chalk paints and handmade flowers!

I realized recently that I had somehow gathered quite a collection of bakers twine and that I needed a better place to store it all. I found this little wooden box at the thrift store and knew that with a little work, it could be the perfect solution!

The first thing I did was paint the whole thing, inside and out with the pretty pink chalk paint from the Muted collection (newly restocked!). Then I created a new window by painting some sparkle decoupage glue right onto a laminating folder and then just ran it through my laminator.

I liked the sparkle effect so much that once I covered the box with the pretty papers from the Boho Dreams collection that I coated it all with a layer (or two) of that same decoupage glue.

Then I used the Color Splash inks to dye my paper doilies to match the beautiful handmade flowers. I added a few coloured rhinestones for a little extra sparkle.

And look at that…. it seems that I have room for a few more spools!!

I hope this fun little project helps you to see your craft storage in a new way and maybe you can give an old box a new life.

Here are the products I used:

Boho Dreams 12 X 12 Paper pad
Acrylic Matte Chalk Paint Set
Color Splash Ink Hot Pink
Color Splash Ink Lime Splash
Handmade Flowers Tulip Bouquet Boho

Have a great weekend!
