Hey there! Melissa here with you today, sharing a new DT layout for Little Birdie. With February being the month of ‘Love’, today I have a Valentine’s Day inspired layout.
A beautiful bright layout, created using Little Birdie’s ‘True Love’ card stock. I did some background stenciling to begin with, using some white gesso and arranged my fussy cutting ephemera pieces around my photo.
I heat embossed the flower chipboard that came with one of Little Birdie’s packet of flowers (product listing below).
I sprinkled some of Little Birdie’s mixed media stones on and around my flowers for some added texture.
And there you have it! A simple but elegant layout, perfect for all those Valentine photos.
I hope you liked my latest creation, I will have some more inspiration for you very soon! Until then..happy crafting! 🙂
Hey there Little Birdie fans! It’s Melissa with you today, sharing a new pretty pink layout created using lots of awesome Little Birdie goodies!
For this layout, I have used Little Birdie’s ‘Cottage Lace’ card stock. I used some of Little Birdie’s ‘Celebrate Life’ card stock as my photo mats and also to pop through the hole I ripped on the top.
I arranged some of Little Birdie’s ‘Celebrate Life’ elements around my photos and cut one of Little Birdie’s chipboard frames in half and covered them in both White Gesso & Matt chalk acrylic paint in ‘Misty Rose’, before attaching each half to each photo.
I arranged lots of Little Birdie flowers around some lace trimming and then added some glitter to them to shine. I have used Little Birdie’s chipboard sentiment for the title and heat embossed it with embossing powder.
To finish off (It’s a little hard to see in the photos) I used some pixie powder and Metallic F/X to outline the area I worked with on the card stock. It gives it a pretty shimmer in the light.
I hope you liked my layout, thank you so much for stopping by. I will be back with some more inspiration very soon! Until then..happy crafting!
