Hi friends! Tonya here with a snowman snow globe I created! This pretty creation can be used as a Christmas decoration and be kept out even after you have taken down holiday decorations during the cold winter months.

- Chalk Paint Tattered Lace 60ml Little Birdie
- Chalk Paint French Rose 60ml Little Birdie
- Crochet Ribbon 7mm Blue 2Mtr Little Birdie
- Crochet Ribbon 2 cm White 2Mtr Little Birdie

- SmoothFoam two 1 inch and one 1 1/2 inch balls
- Antique Mod Podge
- 1 inch of Jewelry Wire
- Tart Pan
- Portable Wine Glass Compact
- 2 Mini Black Gems
- Carrot Nose
- 2 Twigs
- 4 inch piece of Batting
- Extra Fine Glitter
- Mini Bottle Brush Tree
- Cardstock Holly Leaves
I used a paper tart pan from a quiche I had purchased at Panera Bread. I cleaned throughly, applied two coats of gesso, painted one coat of Chalk Paint Sailing Sky and once dry applied a coat of Antique Mod Podge.
Paint the 1 and 1 1/2 inch balls with Chalk Paint Tattered Lace. Once dry adhered carrot nose and two mini black gems to the 1 inch ball and add two dots of Chalk Paint French Rose to the snowman’s face to create rosy cheeks. Next take the 1 inch piece of jewelry wire and push into the body of the snowman and then push the head into the piece of wire. Before completely pushing the head and body together add a small amount of glue. Push together and hold until the adhesive has dried .
Add a little adhesive to each twig before pushing into each side of the snowman’s body. Apply a coat of Antique Mod Podge to the whole snowman and sprinkle with extra fine glitter. Once dry tie a small piece of the Crochet Ribbon 7mm Blue 2Mtr Little Birdie around the neck of the snowman and glue to the base of the tart pan.
Adhere the mini bottle bush tree to the base and tear a part the battering and glue around the snowman and the tree.
Hollow out the 1 inch SmoothFoam ball so it will fit to the top of the portable wine glass. Paint the ball with Chalk Paint Sailing Sky and once dry apply a coat of Antique Mod Modge and cover in a coat of glitter. Adhere to the stem of the wine glass and sprinkle Sparkling Dotties into the glass.
Apply a bead of adhesive to the rim of the glass, center the tart pan over the rim of the glass before firmly placing together. Cut a piece of Crochet Ribbon 2 cm White 2Mtr Little Birdie and tie underneath the ball to cover the rest of the wine glass stem.
Adhere Crochet Ribbon 7mm Blue 2Mtr Little Birdie around the bottom of the glass.
I used cardstock holly leaves from my stash and pink flower from the Spring Serenade Blooms 10 pcs PBCI Holiday Elements and glued to the side of the snow globe. I also add a bit of glitter to the petals and center of the flower to finish it off.
And there you have it! One finished snowman snow globe!
Hope your holidays are wonderful, thanks for stopping by and enjoy creating!
