Today I made an altered Bulb & Bottle cup into a – hot air balloon.
Start with the supporting stuff. I used a bulb and a bottle. Gave them the shape of a hot air balloon.
In the next steps, I used a lot of things from the Little Birdie collection, starting with Texture Paste, Crackle Paste, Black Gesso, Color Splash, Tinted metallic paint, Handmade paper flowers, Prime Chipboard.

Hi Everyone Kerrie back with another project for Little Birdie Crafts
this time I have created a little mini album using their Celebrate Life 6×6 pad
This mini is so quick to create and you can use it to send gift cards or add some favourite photos from a special event or use it as a little brag book
to create the base you just need 3 and a half sheets of 6×6 patterned cardstock single sided or 3 sheets if you have double sided paper.
Step 1 | score the first one at 3″ and fold in half, cut another sheet in half and adhere to the top outer
Step 2 | Cut a strip from the 6×6 patterned cardstock and adhere to inside right side and slot the first page insert to see where you need to score to create a wrap around
Step 3 | repeat as per 2nd insert to create your third and outer page
I have created mine to match up with the amount of pattern I want showing out the side to create the pocket layers
Step 4 adhere the pages together making sure to only add adhesive to the top and bottom edges as you want to create pockets
Using Sculpture Paste and a silicone mold I created some leaves, just leave in the mold to dry and then paint using White Gesso
using French Rose Chalk Pain I painted my Primed Chipboard Round Flourish
While the chipboard is still wet sprinkle on some Strawberry Lips Shimmer Hodge Podge and set aside to dry
next I fussy cut some pieces from the fussy cut sheets in the pad and then layered all my pieces on the front adding some handmade flowers as one can never create without some gorgeous LBC flowers I then added some more Strawberry Lips Shimmer Hodge Podge this time using Gel Medium to adhere the bling where I wanted
finish off with punched out pieces and some journal cards tucked into the pockets (you can add photos or gift cards or a combination of all into the pockets if you prefer Add some string wrapped around to hold the album closed
a look inside
a closer look at all the layers and details

Today I made another floral, delicate card for you. I used papers from several Little Birdie collections. Little Birdie Crafts papers are so beautiful and you can combine them together to fit perfectly.
For my card I used 12×12 Poppies & Roses and True love paper collections. I cut some stripes, lace pattern, a clock and I made a multilayered composition. I also added some laces and a frame to add more interest to my project.
To adhere all the layers and flowers I used Gel medium.
At the end of the process I splashed whole card with small white dots and sprinkled with white glitter. It looks really nice on the bright yellow and orange handmade paper flowers.
