Watercolor Latte Cup

This cute latte cup is just the right size for holding candies or treats at a tea party themed event. It also makes a great gift card holder, or catchall for small jewelry, craft supplies or other trinkets.

What You’ll Need:

Step 1: Apply Ric Rac trim to the bottom of the cup, as shown.

Step 2: Apply a bit of string to serve as the line for the “tea bag” portion of the cup decoration.

Step 3: Embellish the cup with Micro Flowers in an arrangement that is pleasing to your eye.

Step 4: Apply small pom pom trim around the perimeter of the cup, like this trim from Expo International.

Step 5: add embellishments as well to the tea bag. I love these pretty passion colored micro flowers.

Step 6: Add embossed daisies to the side of the cup. This shade of aqua provides a stunning contrast on the cup, and the gold metallic centers of the flower add just the right amount of shimmer.

Step 7: A cascade of Helena Roses in pink add whimsical charm to the decorative tea cup.

Step 8: Gold sequin melange is a great way to add sparkle and shine to this look. I love the way the mix comes in different sizes.

Step 9: Last, place a watercolor Latte sticker inside the cup and fill with your favorite treats!

Thanks for stopping by, and remember to celebrate everything!

Tea Party Decor

Hello everyone! Debra Quartermain here and I am very pleased to guest post with Little Birdie Crafts. The products are so pretty! With six grandlittle girls we have a lot of tea parties, so I am here to show you a pretty tea party set I created.

I was excited to receive a box of pretty goodies from Little Birdie. You can see where my inspiration came from for the tea party theme!

What You’ll Need:

  • Helena Pink 25 MM Flowers
  • Rosebuds Pink 15 MM
  • Parisian Leaves
  • Tea Party Sticker
  • 2 yards Diamond Border White Lace Trim (Expo International)
  • 9” x 12” craft cut Candy Pink felt (Kunin Felt)
  • 1/2 yard White Grosgrain ribbon (craft store)
  • Mini round gold frame (craft store)
  • 6” mini chalkboard stand (craft store)
  • Fabri-tac Adhesive (Beacon)
  • Tea cup
  • Wire cutters
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape or ruler

Cut four pieces of lace, two 18” in length and two 15” in length. Fold ends of two shorter pieces at an angle. Cut on diagonal. Center long lace pieces on opposite 12” sides of felt piece. Glue along edge. Place diagonal cut pieces on opposite two shorter sides of felt. Glue in place. Trim off any excess extending in corners.

Adhere Teapot sticker to center of small frame. Tie ribbon into bow. Glue two lengths of leaves to center of bow. Cut roses and rosebuds from stems and glue over leaves in bow center.

Add teacup sticker to back of mini chalkboard stand. Add mini banner along bottom. Cut roses off stems and glue around base of stand. So sweet, the teacup even has a matching rosebud too!
