Meet our Design team member; My name is Marta Piekarczyk. I live with my family in Poland near Krakow. Crafts have been in my life since I was a child. I got hooked to scrapbooking and the media around six years ago. Since then, I have developed my style and what I like the most are mixed media, coloring, multi-layer works, home décor. These fill my free time. For several years I have also been a designer of papers and accessories at the Polish company P13. I simply love my job! I create in my free (night) time, and it gives me great pleasure. I am also a designer in several Polish and foreign teams.
Hello! My name is Nicole Palos and I’m so excited to be a part of the Little Birdie Design Team for 2020! I’m a stay at home mom with lots of time for crafting! I have been crafting and creating my whole life, I love mixed media, cards, layouts, journaling and beyond. I jump from a shabby designs, bright and sunny, to grungy and rusty depending on my mood. I fell in love with LB products a couple of years back. I am so excited to be on this team and waiting to show you some of my techniques!
Hi, I am Silvia. I do not identify with a single style in scrap, I think I am quite versatile. However, if I do it with one of them, maybe I am more of a modern vintage and I do love shabby chic. If the project allows me, I try to create naturalness. I love mixed media from the darkest of the projects, going through the brightest and even the most romantic. I am addicted to the papers. My favourite decorative elements are flowers.
Hi, I am Maggi Harding, and I am excited to be a part of the Little Birdie Design Team! My home is in Tennessee, USA, but I claim the world as home! I have spent most of my life wandering, as a child with my parents because my Dad was in the Army, and, as an adult, because I can!
I discovered scrapbooking in 2005, when I decided to make scrapbooks for my two best friends from college. It quickly became my passion and something that I spend hours doing and never grow tired of my efforts. My style is eclectic, I like to dabble in all sorts of things, though I prefer 3D projects, tags and layouts using lots of flowers! I love color, and red, black and ivory always bring me joy! For me, scrapbooking is an artistic adventure, what can I create, how can I make every piece of paper come to life? Scrapbooking has awakened my “inner artist” and satisfies the creative side of my brain that was long neglected during my career as a CPA. I am really happy to be a stay at home retired crazy scrapbook lady! Looking forward to sharing my creations with you.
Hi, my name is Karolina and I’m very happy to join the Little Birdie design team. I come from Poland. I live in a small village with my husband, my son and two funny cats. I’m a cardmaker but I also love to try new techniques. I run workshops, where I teach how to create beautiful scrapbooking projects. I also have a YouTube channel with lots of cardmaking inspirations. I am looking forward to create many fun projects using Little Birdie craft supplies.
Hi, I am Fenny Ariani from Indonesia and live in a rural area in Jakarta. I am very happy to be a part of the Little Birdie Design Team. I started scrapbooking around 2009. I love making 3D art work and architecture modelling. My way of design is vintage and rusty and I like to play with colours. Making artwork in combination with mixed media is my favourite. Besides mixed media, I also like to make art journals and watercolour paintings. Looking forward to sharing my projects with Little Birdie’s range of products.
Hello, I am Ruchi Gupta from India. I am a self-taught amateur artist and pursue arts with intense passion. Along with school and college education, my passion always found ways to augment my skills in arts. Mastering new techniques and experimenting with different mediums have always attracted me. I have explored many materials like clay, wood, stone (siporex), glass, paper, canvas to varying degrees in my creative journey. Acrylics, oils, pigments, inks have been used in various ways in my myriad creative endeavours.
I have a fully equipped studio and have been taking classes and workshops for the past five years on various art forms like traditional folk art, Meenakari, clay murals, decoupage, flower making, mixed media assemblages, altered art, mosaic, relief art etc. I am extremely happy to join the Little Birdie Design Team for another term. Looking forward to sharing my creations with you!
Hello, my name is Hilda Skerk. I am from Barcelona. Happy wife and mother of two dogs named Alfa & Blue. I love to use my hands and mind to create anything! I’ve been creating ever since I can remember. My passion for crafting grew stronger about four years ago. I love designing Mixed Media Steampunk & Vintage style and I also create miniature cardboard structures, like scenery. I use a lot of different mediums and stencils in my work and continuously challenge myself, experiment and trying new techniques. I enjoy to use recycled elements in my work. I often dismantle old computers and electronic devices, to get hold of elements for my projects. I am extremely happy to be a part of Little Birdie Design Team once again!
I’m Tracey Sabella from the United States and reside in the Ohio countryside atop a hill surrounded by beautiful forest with my wonderful husband. Our lives are centered around faith and family. I enjoy all types of paper crafting and create in a variety of mixed media styles from grungy masculine to more delicate feminine pieces. I adore getting my hands messy and sharing the techniques that I use. I’m honored and excited to be among the talented designers sharing projects created with gorgeous Little Birdie Crafts products.
Hello I am Kerrie Gurney. I live in Queensland Australia in the beautiful bay side of Brisbane. I started my “career” in the craft industry back in 1996 (Yes 24 years ago!) when my sister in law and I started our own party plan business selling rubber stamps and accessories. Since then, I have worked in the papercrafting industry, teaching classes and demonstrating at events and stores in Australia, New Zealand, USA and South Africa, as well as working and teaching for Australian event organizers, distributors and manufacturers.
I really love teaching and sharing my love of papercrafting and seeing how much joy it brings to those who attend classes and events. I don’t really have a set style; it is usually dictated by how I am feeling when creating.
I am very excited and proud to be part of the Little Birdie Crafts 2020 Design Team. I love the way I can make a page as simple or as embellished as I want. For me, it is about the photo and reliving the memory while I am scrapping. I also love to create beautiful cards, trying new techniques and adding texture to my projects.
