Hello everyone, Hilda here. Today I am here with a floral cardboard door.
Once you make a door like this, it can be used for embellishing any scrapbook layout or other craft projects. You could also use it as a decorative piece. Lets get started:
First cut a rectangular piece of cardboard. Then cut long strips in different sizes and two horizontal strips to make the door.
I glued the strips with gel medium which is as good as any adhesive. When it was dry I applied a coat of white gesso.
Then, to give it some texture, I brushed it with a thick coat of Crackle Paste.
Next, I embossed the chipboards with white embossing powder.
When the Project was completely dry, I applied yellow and coral spray.
Once everything was dry, to create the composition I attached gauze, flowers by Little Birdie Crafts, stones, crystal drops, cotton fiber and other embellishments.
Here are some close-up pictures.
Hope you liked it and would try it out. Thank you for your stopping by,
Have a fabulous day
