Slimline Cards

Hi Friends, Anushree here!

Have you always wondered that stamping is necessary to make cards. I would tell you ‘NO’ and will show you today how to create lovely Slimline cards by just using dies, pattern paper along with gorgeous handmade flowers from Little Birdie Crafts.

Did you like these?? I totally enjoyed making both the cards.

Here’s how I made them:

  1. I cut a 8.5*3.5 inches base card in coloured cardstock.
  2. Next, I adhered a die cut rectangular piece from the ‘Watercolor Floral Ballet’ pattern paper.
  3. I die cut an oval in white cardstock and adhered it using double sided tape to give volume to my card.
  4. I adhered some gorgeous handmade flowers from Little Birdie collection to the card as shown.
  5. I have fussy cut the sentiment from the same pattern paper. Do you know there is one complete 12*12 sheet just with sentiments in this pattern paper set.

Here’s the major materials used for these cards

Hope you enjoyed slimline cards today, See you soon with more crafting fun.

Thanks for stopping by. Hugs, Anushree

Birthday Card

Hello friends! Today I, Inna Brigantina, will share my inspiration with you.

I made a card to complement a young girl’s birthday present.

Based on sheets of paper from the Aqua Medley collection

I cut out the silhouette of the girl using a plotter.

I cut out the base of the postcard from the sheets of paper. I used contrasting backgrounds.

I composed a layout, building it around the silhouette of the girl. For bright accents, I uses stickers from the set Best wishes Floral Embellishment

Complementing the card with decorations from the set Poppies & Roses Ephemera Embellishment

I drew out the rear side of the card and cut out the base from a plain cardboard

I glued everything together and my card for the girl is ready. I think she turned out to be pretty cute and romantic.

I wish you creative inspiration and great summer days, friends!

Simple Shaker Cards

Hi everyone! If you’re like me, sometimes special events can creep up on you and you need to make a card …. fast! A really impressive and fun card to make is a shaker card!

All you need are some fun stickers, like this fun Sweet Treat Candy Collection set, paper, acetate, adhesive foam strips, and some sparkly bits to shake.

I started by cutting my background paper the same size as my card base, and made a frame slightly smaller with some cute colourful paper.

Place your stickers down and add your shaker bits. You can use sequins, confetti, or small beads.

Next, adhere your acetate to the back of your frame, then add your foam tape to create dimension, and stick it all on top of your card.

That’s it! Easy peasy, you have a fun card ready to share in no time!

I even used some stickers from one of the other collections to make a slightly more sophisticated version.

Have fun mixing and matching your stickers and shaker bits!
