Hello its Wanda and I’m back today with a little baby girl project. My projects today are clean and simple, perfect from the ‘Little Miracle’ collection.
I made a sweet little baby dress tag using the Little Miracle paper pad. On the little dress tag, I also added Little Birdie flowers and cute little check poking out from her pocket and I think it looks adorable.
I also made a this super cute banner that you can hang on your wall or even hang on your gift bag. For the banner, I used the Little Birdie pre-made cards and decorated around that using some more little miracle baby girl ephemera some cute bows and some pompoms on the ends of a straw to finish off the look.
I think the finished project will look adorable in a little girls room.
Thank you for passing by and come back next time to see what I will make using Little Birdie procucts!
Hello dear Little Birdie Crafts fans! It’s Tracey here to share a new project with you today.
I’ve created a Vintage Spring Art Tag featuring Little Birdie’s gorgeous ‘Shabby Chic Bouquet’ collection and their fabulous mixed media products including Whipped Cream Sparkle paste. I just adore how this paste is a clear gel infused with micro-glitter to add amazing sparkle that allows the background design to show through.
This sweet tag would be a lovely gift tag or a gift on it’s own for any of the spring holidays like Easter, Mother’s Day, or a graduation.
This was a quick and easy project for me. I made it in a couple hours in one sitting, so if you’re new to mixed media and want to try out something easy, this is just the inspiration for you. I share all the details of how to put this together with voice instructions in my video where you will learn how to dry brush gorgeous little birdie flowers with gesso for a soft shabby effect, heat emboss chipboard, create a focal point with ephemera, and add shimmer and texture with Sparkle Paste and Metal Microbeads.
Tips and Techniques:
The floral cluster is arranged over gears and chicken wire. I’ve included flowers from the Shabby Chic Bouquet, Celebrate Life, and Fairy Sparkle collections as well as these darling tulips from a handmade embellishment pack. A complete list can be found in my supply list below.
Here’s another view of the flowers so you can see how much dimension there is with all the lovely layers.
This primed chipboard floral medallion is from the ‘Blooms and Vines’ set. It has been heat embossed with shabby pink embossing powder. The center is a little piece from my stash that is colored with gesso, Tinted Metallic Paint and Metallic Wax to transform the plain silver into a gorgeous shabby center that’s a perfect center for this medallion.
This gorgeous glittered birdhouse and wreath from the Shabby Chic Bouquet Ephemera pack are layered to create an easy and beautiful focal point. The bee charms from my stash are colored with Rich Gold Metallic Wax.
The sweet Pearl Butterflies are from the Fairy Sparkle Collection. You can see just how much sparkling shimmer the Whipped Cream Sparkle paste creates when stenciled onto the background. The tags are diecut from Shabby Chic Bouquet paper and the edges are inked to distress and add definition. The edges of the inner tag are distressed with the edges of my scissors blade. Little Birdie braided jute twine is so sweet tied onto the tag.
More texture is created around the cluster with Mystique Rose Microbeads and some tiny gold microbeads from my stash adhered with Soft Matte Gel Medium. The gears are diecut from thin chipboard using the Little Birdie Cogs and Wheels Thincut Die set and heat embossed with shabby pink embossing powder.
