Special Love – Scrapbook Layout

Hey there crafty friends! Welcome back to the Little Birdie blog – Melissa here with you today and I am sharing a beautiful romantic red and white coloured layout. I hope you like it.

For this layout I have used 3Quarter Designs’ beautiful ‘Forever You’ collection.

I did some background stamping with a script stamp and mahogany ink to start with and then distressed and inked the photo matting pieces.

I cut up some hexagon chipboard and coloured it with gold wax.

I then arranged some elements around my photos, using mounting tape on some to create layers.

I arranged the flowers and used some gold wax on them, and then sprinkled some gold glitter over the top as well and around the layout for some sparkle.

I heat embossed the title and attached it to the bottom of my photo.

I hope you liked this layout, I will be back again very soon with some more crafty inspiration. Until then…happy crafting! 🙂

Moments Captured – Scrapbook Layout

Hey there crafty friends, welcome back to the Little Birdie blog where you have Melissa with you today, sharing a floral scrapbook layout.

I have used Little Birdie’s ‘Woodland Stories’ collection for this layout and found a photo that matched this collection perfectly (thanks to Pinterest).

I cut an angled green piece of card stock from the collection and attached it on the top of the main card stock piece using mounting tape to give it dimension. I then attached some lace underneath it.
I used another floral piece of card stock from the collection and cut it on an angle in the opposite direction to the green piece. I used mounting tape again to attach it for more dimension and also attached some lace underneath it, like the previous piece.

I foiled some brick shaped chipboard and attached them above and below my photo.

I arranged and attached some ephemera from the Woodland Collection, using mounting tape on some of them for height.

I then added some flowers to finish off the layout.

Thank you so much for looking, I really hope I have inspired you in some way. I will be back on the blog again very soon with some more crafty inspiration. Until then..happy crafting! 🙂

Live The Moments – Scrapbook Layout

Hey there crafty people! Welcome back to the Little Birdie blog, Melissa here with you today and I have a new layout to share with you.

For the bottom of this layout I used the orange card stock from the ‘Woodland Stories’ collection; for the top of this layout I used floral card stock from the ‘Watercolor Floral Ballet’ collection, which I lightly distressed the bottom of and for the matting of my photo, I used a small piece of card stock from the ‘True Love’ collection, which I cut out using a metal die.

Between the top and bottom card stocks, I attached some burlap to break them up a little.

I did some stenciling on my background, using white gesso and I used the ‘Poppies & Roses’ elements around my photo.

I then attached some beautiful red flowers & roses and a couple of yellow ones to cut through the red a bit.

I coloured a chipboard border & the chipboard title using ‘Glimmer Moss’ wax and Matt chalk acrylic paint in ‘Lemon Chiffon’ & ‘Wild Wasabi’ and I coloured some chipboard flower pieces using ‘Lemon Zest’ sparkle paste.

To finish off this layout, I added some glitter paint to some of the red flowers to make them sparkle and some clear crystal drops to the chipboard pieces to make them glossy.

All products used on this layout are from Little Birdie, except the stencil, crystal drops & glitter paint (see product list below).

I hope you liked this layout and are inspired to try something similar. I will be back again very soon with some more crafty inspiration. Until then…happy crafting! 🙂
