Beautiful Spring Mixed Media Canvas

Who is ready for Spring….raise your hands! I always know Spring is right around the corner when I see the Bluebirds and Robins come to make their nests. I also know it is time for me to planning and creating a few Spring Home Décor pieces. Today I will show you how to create an easy Spring Mixed Media Canvas to add to you home.

Here’s What You Will Need:

Step 1

Spray canvas with Color Splash. Dry in between sprays. Dry. Lay Dot Stencil on top of prepared canvas; apply paste. Dry.

Step 2: 

Stamp randomly background images with black ink.

Step 3:

Spatter with white paint; dry. Add Chipboard Scroll Border to top of canvas.

Step 4

Add sticker to top of canvas with pop dots.

Step 5

Fussy cut image from pattern paper; adhere the Whimsy Frame to top of image. Adhere to top of canvas.

Step 6

Add Elsie Tuscan Grey to top of canvas; finish with small bow.

Hello Winter Mixed Media Card

Hello Winter…is everyone ready!!! It is a season with cold air, whipping winds and maybe even a snowflake or two. What better way to spend your time but to grab some Little Birdie Crafts supplies and create some fun mix media cards, drink hot chocolate and spend time in your pajamas and slippers.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Step 1: Apply paint to white card stock using stencil brush; dry.

Step 2: Distress edges of prepared painted distress paper and card stock mats. Emboss painted paper with embossing folder. Adhere to top of card base.

Step 3:  Die cut doily from Kraft paper; adhere to top of prepared card front.

Step 5: Cut leaf to make two parts. Paint leaf and wreath using Metallic Paint; dry.

Step 6: Adhere leaf parts to front of card.

Step 7: Adhere wreath to top of sticker. Add to top of card front with pop dots.

Step 8: Add sticker to card with pop dots.

Step 9: Add bow and Metallic Daisies to card front.

Easy peasy mixed media card…so grab those fabulous Little Birdie Crafts and start making some mixed media cards. They will be treasured by all that receive them.

Elegant Holiday Card

Hello, Friends! Mitsyana Wright here, and I’m back to bring you a little holiday inspiration with this Elegant Holiday Card!

 With Christmas soon upon us, it’s time to put your card making game into gear!! Let me show you how I created this gorgeous and elegant holiday card with some amazing products from Little Birdie Crafts!

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Step 1

Gather your supplies.

Step 2

Cut and fold your black cardstock to create a standard A2 sized card (4.25″x 5.5″ folded).

Step 3

Trim a mat from gold cardstock to measure 4″x 5.25″ and the second mat from plaid paper to measure 3.75″ x 5″.

Step 4

Layer and attach mats onto card front using Xyron Mega Runner.

Step 5

Mix Charcoal Chalk Paint with texture powder to create a paste.

Step 6

Paint mixture onto Chipboard Christmas Wreath. Set aside to dry. *TIP*- You can speed up drying time by using a heat gun.

Step 7

Once the paint is dry, rub gilding wax over the raised textured areas of the entire wreath.

Step 8

Attach wreath onto card front using mixed media glue.

Step 9

Color several Kraft Leaves using an alcohol ink marker. I used Spectrum Noir’s DG4.

Step 10

Arrange and adhere green and kraft leaves onto one side of the wreath, then attach Camilla Cherry flowers over leaves.

Step 11

Attach “Happy Holidays” from the Happy Holiday With Love set.

Step 12

Lightly apply more gilding wax over tips of the flower petals and over raised areas of the leaves.

Step 13

Attach gold sequins to centers of the flowers.
