Easter Bags – Hop Into Spring

Today I come here to inspire you with twin Easter bags.

I created both of them in a spring mood, with bouquets of flowers.
The most beautiful decorations are of course our cardboards, as always reliable and very versatile flowers.
In my projects I used papers from the ‘Cottage Lace’ collection.

Vacation – Scrapbook Layout

Hey there crafty people! Welcome back to the Little Birdie blog and thank you so much for stopping by.

Today I am sharing my last DT layout for Little Birdie as the term has now come to an end.

I thought I’d do a travel themed layout this time as I don’t seem to do too many of them, I hope you like it.

For this layout I have used cardstock and some elements from 3Quarter Designs ‘Bon Voyage’ collection.

I did a fair bit of mixed media for the background of this one. I did some stenciling using black ink and stenciling using white gesso, which I then sprinkled embossing powder over the top of while it was still wet.

I also did some stamping using black ink.

I heat embossed the honey comb chipboard and attached it around my photo.

I created a flower cluster around my photo and also heat embossed some postage stamp resins and tucked them under the flowers.

To finish off, I added some glitter to some of the flowers for extra sparkle and also sprinkled some stones over and around the flowers.

I hope you have all enjoyed seeing my creations for the Little Birdie Design Team over the past year, it was a pleasure working with this amazing team.

Male Accordion Album

Hey there crafty friends! Welcome back to the Little Birdie blog – Melissa with you today and I am sharing something new and different.

I thought I would have a go at creating an accordion album (just because) and decided to make it a male themed album.

To create this album I followed Einat Kessler’s tutorial on YouTube.

To see a quick flip through of my album, click on the YouTube link below.

I hope you liked my latest project. Maybe you can give this accordion album a try too someday.

I will be back with some more crafty inspiration very soon, until then…happy crafting!
